Search Bryan County Court Dockets

The issuing court comes first. The county's web case search covers some courts, not all. Bryan County, Georgia keeps a chronological case index in each court, identifying parties, filings, hearing settings, orders, and the recorded outcome, and none of that is the same as the documents behind the entries. The Clerk of Superior Court in Pembroke, the separate probate and municipal offices, courthouse terminals, telephone contacts, and written requests fill the gaps. Search online, then use those routes when a Bryan County court docket search is incomplete.

Inside Bryan County CM Web Search

CM Web is a local information portal. It is not a statewide master register or the clerk's certification service. The verified controls are simple. Deeper dropdowns and filters require an accepted interactive session, so follow the live labels rather than importing assumptions from another county.

If the session fails, call 912-653-3872. A counter visit or the required free terminal works too. You can also mail a targeted request to P.O. Box 670 in Pembroke, or ask the right court-specific provider or city office.

Court Dockets: What They Show

A Bryan County docket lists activity by date. That helps separate filing dates from hearing dates. It also shows when a later event changes an earlier setting. The signed pleading, order, judgment, or transcript stays a separate record, so an event label does not disclose the document's full terms.

Case NumberThe clerk identifier; enter punctuation exactly.
PartiesThe caption and roles, such as plaintiff/defendant or State/accused.
Docket Entries / FilingsNotices, pleadings, service, motions, orders, and recorded activity.
Hearing SettingsDate, time, event type, and sometimes location; later entries may supersede these.
Court & JudgeThe tribunal owning the file and assigned officer where displayed.
DispositionThe recorded judgment, dismissal, plea, verdict, or other outcome.
Continuance
An authorized postponement; a request alone does not move court.
Redocket
Return to an active calendar; State Court publishes a request form.
Docket call
A grouped readiness or status calendar, not necessarily trial.
Certified copy

Bryan's Pembroke and Richmond Hill Counters

Bryan County spans 437.56 square miles. Records are administered from two service centers. The main clerk operation sits at 151 South College Street in Pembroke, while South Bryan residents can use the Courthouse Annex at 66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive in Richmond Hill. The annex posts 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. hours. It closes noon–1:00 p.m. Pembroke runs weekday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., holidays excluded. Call before traveling. County materials also use 51 North Courthouse Street for administrative functions. Probate serves both ends with separate staff, and Richmond Hill Municipal Court meets at its Police Department rather than the annex, while Pembroke municipal files start through the city/police channel.

Bryan County Courts and Their Dockets

Geography alone cannot identify the court. Bryan Superior Court is just one piece. It belongs to the six-county Atlantic Judicial Circuit, yet the Bryan clerk keeps Bryan files, and State, Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, and municipal courts each carry distinct jurisdiction and access limits.

A Magistrate jury demand can force a transfer. That court holds no jury trials. Municipal judgments follow the proper Superior Court review route rather than automatically becoming State Court cases, and transfers or appeals may create another case number.

Why Georgia E-Access Is Not Countywide

Georgia's e-access system is not countywide. The Georgia Judicial Council E-Access directory routes users to provider systems and says an account is required. Bryan State Court appears there. Bryan Superior does not. That gap does not mean Superior lacks cases, and the directory is not a comprehensive statewide register; probate and city courts have separate custodians. PeachCourt supports Bryan State criminal and civil e-filing, and county materials say Superior and State civil filings are electronically filed. A provider creates or displays electronic material without becoming custodian, and it may charge registration or a document fee even when a free index lists the event. Certified county records come from Rebecca Crowe's clerk office.

Court Dates and Settings in Bryan County

Bryan County has several calendar paths. The clerk embeds a combined court calendar. State Court keeps a separate one. The Atlantic Judicial Circuit says no circuit calendar is currently available, so Superior date questions return to the Bryan clerk. Start with the newest notice. Compare the docket and confirm shortly before travel. Arraignment, pretrial, motion hearing, docket call, plea, trial, sentencing, and status conference are different settings. The Bryan County Court Schedule explains them and what to do after a change. In January 2025, State Court vacated specified morning and afternoon dockets for winter weather while e-filing continued, and replacement dates were mailed. An old event can remain in history although a later notice controls attendance.

When Bryan CM Web Finds Nothing

Retry the number and the spelling first. Then verify jurisdiction: Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, Richmond Hill, or Pembroke. City citations stay out of the county database. Authorized juvenile records are not public results. Ask whether an older file is indexed, scanned, in a minute book, or awaiting archive retrieval. The 2026 county budget reports 12 clerk employees. Old-case scanning continues. Goals include indexing at least two years of files, implementing juvenile e-filing, and preserving Superior and State minute books with the State Archives and GSCCCA. Online coverage can differ by age without changing whether the official file exists.

Docket Access Under Georgia Law

Public access has conditions. Georgia rules support inspection while preserving sealing orders, required redactions, juvenile confidentiality, security, and judicial control over recording. Not every image or identifier is open. Direct case-file requests to the judicial custodian; a general county request cannot override a court order.

Key Rules:

Georgia E-Filing Standards, Rules 1(e), 3(a)(3)-(4) — require no-charge courthouse viewing of public electronic documents during business hours.

O.C.G.A. §50-18-70 et seq. — supports access to public agency records while judicial files remain under court rules.

O.C.G.A. §9-11-7.1 and Rule 21 — require identifier redaction and govern sealed/public-redacted filings.

O.C.G.A. §15-11-700 et seq. — gives juvenile records special confidentiality.

Courtroom devices and recording fall under Rule 22, not docket rules. Looking up a case at a terminal is one thing; recording a hearing is another, and that follows the judge's own process.

Free Terminal Access at the Courthouse

Want to read a full Bryan County court file without paying a portal fee? The courthouse itself may be the answer. Georgia e-filing rules say a participating clerk must offer free viewing of public electronic documents on a terminal during business hours, or an equivalent no-cost option. Bryan does not publish where that terminal sits, and the courthouse screen may show no more than the web portal does. So call 912-653-3872 before you drive over.

When you go, bring the court name, the case number, the event date, and the title of the document you need. Ask staff whether an older image exists locally, and say plainly whether you want a plain, certified, or exemplified copy. Mail requests work too, if you identify the court, case, document, copy type, delivery details, and your contact information. Confirm the cost and accepted payment first. Staff can explain procedure but cannot give legal advice.

How the Clerk Keeps Docket Records

Rebecca G. Crowe has served as Clerk of Superior Court since her first election in 1997. Her office holds the case files for Superior, State, Magistrate, and Juvenile Court in Bryan County, and it also manages jury duty for Superior and State. Probate and municipal clerks each keep their own dockets. The split matters. Where you request a record, whether online, at the counter, by telephone, mail, fax, or electronic copy, depends on which clerk holds the case.

The Docket Index Is Not the Certified File

A docket result only points you to the case and the event. It is not official proof. An entry may show that an order was filed yet leave out its full language, and a saved copy of the docket can go stale once the court resets it. When you need authenticated proof for Bryan County court records, ask the clerk for the signed document itself, or for a certified or exemplified copy.

City-by-City Court Dockets in Bryan County

The 2020 Census counts two incorporated cities in Bryan County. Richmond Hill takes city traffic and ordinance cases; Pembroke handles city traffic, ordinance, and nuisance matters. Their municipal dockets sit apart from Superior and State files. If a county search comes up empty, search the issuing city rather than assuming a dismissal.

Growth Is Changing Bryan's Record Work

44,7382020 Census population
52,062July 2025 estimate
12Clerk employees in the 2026 budget

Bryan County is growing fast, and its record system shows the strain. Population rose 16.4 percent from the 2020 estimate base to July 2025. The bulk of growth sits in Richmond Hill. Pembroke remains the separate county seat. That split explains why the clerk and Probate Court run north and south service options. Growth cannot predict any case result. It does shape filing volume, hearing calendars, and how the public actually reaches records.

The county operating plan ties growth to personnel needs. It also covers continuing scans, juvenile e-filing goals, and preservation of older minute books. This is why Bryan County court docket coverage stays hybrid. Some current information flows through CM Web or a provider. Some historical material still needs staff help or archive retrieval. A free public terminal shows electronic records. It cannot display a paper file that has never been indexed or scanned.

Before contacting any office, write down the exact court and event. Let the right division route the request. A focused ask beats demanding a complete file when one order answers the question. It also makes per-page fees easier to estimate. For old matters, ask about paper files, minute books, and archive status. Do not repeat the same web query.

Bryan records also reach beyond the main clerk. Probate staff retain estate and guardianship files. Both municipal courts keep their own city matters. Growth changes work volume; it never merges custodians. The issuing court stays the first and most important search field.

Map and Directions to the Bryan County Courthouse

Clerk of Superior Court Rebecca G. Crowe keeps Superior, State, Magistrate, and Juvenile files at the main courthouse, 151 South College Street, in Pembroke. Because Bryan County spans 437.56 square miles, south-county residents can instead use the Courthouse Annex at 66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive in Richmond Hill for the same clerk services. County materials also reference 51 North Courthouse Street for administrative functions, so confirm the counter before traveling.

Georgia's e-filing standards require a free public terminal for viewing electronic court documents during business hours, but Bryan County does not publish a terminal floor or location, so ask the clerk's counter first. Courtroom recording and device use follow Uniform Superior Court Rule 22 and need advance permission; bring a case number and photo identification if seeking a restricted record as an authorized party.
